MEMBERSHIP FEES

It is with some reluctance that the Trustees have decided that Membership Fees need to be reviewed for 2019. The current level of fees have remained the same for the last twelve years while our costs of providing the membership services have increased on many fronts, from postage to print costs and the costs of office administration in sending out the information we are required to do.

It was decided to keep any increase to the minimum so from 2019 all fees will rise by £3 for every membership with a larger rise only applying to any new Life Membership. The Trustees are conscious of the financial obligations incurred by members in caring for their horses however we hope that members will understand that after fees being held since 2007 with no increases a small adjustment was inevitable at some time. The Trustees wish to thank all the members who continue to support the Society in the services and work we undertake.

GOLD MEMBERSHIP 

Members benefits -

  • All breeding, transfer and registration rights.
  • All voting rights.
  • AHS Members Liability Insurance.
  • Able to enter Horses at The Arab Horse Society National Show.
  • Purchase Horse of the Year Show Qualifying Card as Registered Owner of Horse
  • Handle Horses in classes affiliated to ECAHO.
  • Ride Horses in Horse of the Year Show Qualifying classes or at The Horse of the Year show final.
  • Qualify for British Dressage Arabian Horse Championship 
  • Apply for Arab Horse Society Bursary
  • Receive Arab Horse Society Prizes at non Arab Horse Society Events
  • Two AHS Magazines per year.
  • Three day spectator pass to the National Show.
  • Complementary entry tickets for two children under 16 to The Arab Horse Society National Show

Individual Membership £55 or £52 if paid by Direct Debit

Double Membership £74 or £69 if paid by Direct Debit (2 adults at the same address)

Life Membership £1000.00



SILVER MEMBERSHIP
will give those of you who do not want to breed or register any horses, or exhibit the similar benefits as a GOLD MEMBER but at a lower cost.

  • All voting rights.
  • AHS Members Liability Insurance.
  • Handle Horses in classes affiliated to ECAHO.
  • Ride Horses in Horse of the Year Show Qualifying classes or at The Horse of the Year show final.
  • Qualify for British Dressage Arabian Horse Championship
  • Receive Arab Horse Society Prizes at non Arab Horse Society Events
  • Two AHS Magazines per year.
  • Three day spectator pass to the National Show.

Individual Membership £51 or £48 if paid by Direct Debit

Double Membership £70 or £65 if paid by direct debit (two adults at the same address)


 

BRONZE MEMBERSHIP
is for those members who only wish to receive the AHS Magazine and show Horses as Handlers or Riders.

  • Handle Horses in Classes affiliated to ECAHO
  • All Voting rights
  • Ride Horses in Horse of the Year Show Qualifying classes or at The Horse of the Year show final
  • Qualify for British Dressage Arabian Horse Championship
  • Receive Arab Horse Society Prizes at non Arab Horse Society Events
  • Two AHS Magazines per year
  • Three day spectator pass to the National Show

Available to Judges, Handlers, Riders, Subscribers and Juniors up to 16 years of age


Individual Membership £28 or £25 if paid by Direct Debit


Handlers and Riders must be members in order to compete at The National Show, in Horse of the Year Show qualifying classes, The Horse of the Year Show final and in ECAHO Affiliated classes

 


 An overseas postage charge of £5 will be added for all overseas? memberships.

An administration fee of £10 will be made for any upgrading of a Membership
within the term of that year's membership.

The AHS has a social media policy that all officials, members and competitors are expected to follow. Bullying in any form will absolutely not be tolerated and the AHS name should not be brought into disrepute.
Any official who breaks this policy may be removed permanently from their respective panel and any competitor may have their future competition entries jeopardised.
