We are deeply saddened to report the recent passing of Ursula Roberts at the celebratory age of 100. Ursula was a very prominent figure in the Arabian Horse world, not only in the UK but also in Europe.

With a list of achievements that would make many eyes water, her devotion to the Arabian Horse was unquestionable.

As organiser of our National Show for many years, Ursula was also a Judge and sat on the Disciplinary Panel both here and abroad. She will also be fondly remembered for her very successful gelding Splendour of Sind including his appearances as a driving horse.

The Arab Horse Society was saddened to hear the news of the death of our patron HRH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Our condolences go to his family and all of his staff at Shadwell.
